Re-sell of Sony Building Commemorative Louvers
These artworks were made in commemoration of the former Sony Building’s over 50-year history, and were made by cutting and processing the aluminum parts (louvers) that were used on the outer wall.
All proceeds from this sale will go towards the "Emergency Disaster Relief and Restoration Fund for Children", (*Japanese only) a fund jointly established by Sony and Save the Children Japan.

Sony Corporation added a matching gift equal to the proceeds that were raised from the charity sale of the Sony Building commemorative louvers, and a total donation of 1,717,250 yen was made to the "Emergency Disaster Relief and Restoration Fund for Children" which was established jointly with Save the Children Japan.
The limited time charity sale was held from August 9 to October 8, 2018 and a large number of people provided their support.
