Welcome to Ginza.
Shiseido, born in Ginza, celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.

Shiseido's corporate culture magazine "Hanatsubaki" was first published in 1937 as a "beautiful gift" to its customers, and has covered various aspects of beauty in people's lives, including beauty, culture, and fashion.

This time, "SHISEIDO Hanatsubaki GALLERY Mini" will be held at Sony Park Mini as a joint project between "Hanatsubaki" and "Tsubakikai 8," an exhibition currently being held at the Shiseido Gallery (established in 1919). This is an attempt to create a miniature version of the Shiseido Gallery, where the Hanatsubaki concept will be embodied in the form of artworks from the 150th anniversary issue of Hanatsubaki.

We would be very happy if your time in Ginza could be a beautiful and creative one.

Shiseido Gallery
Shiseido Gallery opened in 1919 and is said to be Japan’s oldest art gallery still in existence. Except for interruptions due to earthquakes, wars and renovations, it has continued contributing to the promotion of art and culture in Japan through its commitment to the “discovery and creation of new beauty.” There are many artists who went on to leave their mark in the history of Japanese art after exhibiting their works at Shiseido Gallery.
Since the 1990s, the gallery has shifted its focus to contemporary art, actively promoting contemporary works that combine the avant-garde with purity.
In 2001, the gallery reopened on the 1st basement floor of the Tokyo Ginza Shiseido Building. With a ceiling height of over 5 m, it is one of the biggest spaces in Ginza District that has also attracted attention from overseas artists as a place that allows for a wide range of expressions.
