The work explores the boundary line where everything fluctuates and melts together.

The performance by Ryosuke Kataoka and Daigo Sakuragi will show us this,
the intermediate point between body and spirit, material and representation.

Ryosuke Kataoka
Born in Okayama, Japan in 1993. Artist. Currently based in Tokyo. He is expanding his field of activity using a variety of expressions.

Daigo Sakuragi
Born in 1993 in Tokyo, Japan. Musician. active as D.A.N. since 2016 and performed at "Park Live" in March 2022. Currently he works as a solo artist and DJ.

[Details]
  • This experimental program by artist Ryosuke Kataoka and musician Daigo Sakuragi fuses drawing and music.
  • Ryosuke Kataoka will create drawings using stone and paint, and musician Daigo Sakuragi will generate sound from the vibrations generated by the drawings. The two creations will be fused together in real time in a performance.
  • Performances will be held on Apr 12 (Wed.), 22 (Sat.), and 29 (Sat.).
  • The archives of works, sounds and images created there will be exhibited, allowing visitors to enjoy a multilayered and updated space.
  • All three performance will be streamed live on Ginza Sony Park's official Instagram, @ryosukekataoka and @daigoos from 14:00 on all three days (About 1 hour).
  • The exhibition space will be closed during the performance.

[Notes]
  • Sony Park Mini is a tiny space of around 30m². You are asked to note that a limit will be placed on the number of people allowed to enter the space at any one time.
  • Any changes to the program will be announced on Sony Park’s official social media account.

[Measures to prevent infection]
Measures will be implemented to prevent the spread of infections at Sony Park Mini.
  • Alcohol disinfectant will be available.
  • Reinforce disinfection and ventilation.
  • Staff will check their temperatures before coming to work, and regularly gargle their mouths, as well as wash and disinfect their hands.
