USHIO CHOCOLATL is a chocolate manufacturer nestled on a mountainside in the southern part of Mukaishima Island of Onomichi City in Hiroshima Prefecture.
Our chocolate is made from cacao beans and sugar only.
We make single-origin chocolates to allow enjoyment of the tastes and fragrances unique to each region, as well as take great pride in creating new forms of chocolate, including milk or white chocolates made purely from plants, and chocolates made from soy sauce lees. We strive daily in our effort to take on new challenges.

Our chocolate wrappers are adorned with the works of a variety of artists. We value the “vibes” we exchange with customers who buy our products, by connecting through art and the super-cute wrappers around the hexagonal chocolates.

While retaining these “VIBES,” the wrappers around the chocolates sold exclusively at Sony Park Mini have been designed by the illustrator, Hikaru Ichijo.
As for the chocolate, the key part of the product, has been inspired by the café culture of Ginza with a flavor reminiscent of toast.

From the mountains of Onomichi to Sony Park Mini in the heart of Ginza.

Come and enjoy the story behind our success in breaking into the market in Tokyo.
