GINZAZA is a short film playground inside an underground parking lot.
Each edition will be a unique exploration into the short film format.
Our goal is to create a space where anyone, from non-movie goers to busy bees, can casually stop by.
The films may be short, but we hope you’ll think about them for a long time.

Neo Sora
Film director, translator and artist based in New York and Tokyo. He has directed, shot, and produced numerous short films, documenta- ries, music videos, fashion videos, and concert films. His latest short film, THE CHICKEN (2020), had its world premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival and has since been screened.
Aiko Masubuchi
Aiko Masubuchi
A film curator, producer, and translator based in New York and Tokyo, working primarily in the areas of film and the arts, she worked at the NY Museum of Natural History and MoMA’s Film Department before heading the Film Department at the Japan Society in New York from 2013 to 2018. Since becoming indepen- dent, she has worked as a guest curator at MoMA, Anthology Film Archive, Film Forum.

*A program to screen three to four videos at once is planned for Saturdays and Sundays.

[Details]
  • One video will be screened every hour between 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Mondays to Fridays.
  • On Saturdays and Sundays, 10 videos will be divided into three categories according to their concepts, then screened starting at 11:00 A.M., 2:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
  • Interviews of the directors may also be shown after some of the videos.

  • Tickets will be made available on the day, with a limit of eight seats. They will go on sale 30 minutes before screening time at Sony Park Mini.

Measures will be implemented to prevent the spread of infections at Sony Park Mini, to ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Visitors are asked to cooperate in having their temperatures checked when entering the facility. People with temperatures over 37.5 ℃ may not be allowed to enter.
  • Visitors are asked to wear masks inside the facility.
  • Visitors are asked to cooperate in disinfecting their hands when entering the facility.
  • Visitors are asked to cooperate in maintaining social distancing.
  • Alcohol disinfectant will be available.
  • Places inside the facility touched or used by many people will be disinfected or ventilated regularly.
  • Staff will wear masks, check their temperatures before coming to work, and regularly gargle their mouths, as well as wash and disinfect their hands.
