As part of a series of stores in the Nishi-Ginza Parking Lot Shopping Center, the space at Sony Park Mini has been transformed to resemble a corner of an imaginary shopping center to draw attention to unique businesses being operated by all kinds of craftsmen and merchants, through a method of continued involvement with goods and stores.

The second store of this series, RECYCLE SHOP - Hand To Mouth, is one of the places where people gather in the town of Ebara, in Shinagawa City, lined with the studios and galleries of artists.
The place has attracted attention in recent years as an epicenter of new culture.

The owner of the store is discerning about his goods, and he also cherishes his daily encounters with neighborhood colleagues.
Daily life at Hand to Mouth is filled with people connecting through goods that are packed with ideas for the future of shops and communities.

Sony Park Mini will draw attention to the people of Ebara and their activities through Hand To Mouth.
In addition to selling goods the owner discovered at a variety of locations, come and enjoy the special shop that will be opened for a limited time only. It includes an experimental online shop featuring abstract photos of goods, and a pop-up space for artists with connections to the store.

“RECYCLE SHOP - Hand To Mouth”
Store owner, Naohiko Hironaga, comes from Osaka.
He was an apparel pattern maker, but changed jobs to enter the recycling industry. He gained experience at a secondhand store in Central Tokyo, while making costumes and working as a member of a road crew for musicians on the side, before opening Hand To Mouth in Meguro, in 2017.
Due to aging of the building, he moved his store to its current location in Ebara of Shinagawa City in 2021. He has created an “offline shop” to question what value is through his philosophy of “not being confined by knowledge on age, brands, etc.” and “intuitive buying.”
