Reservations

Q
Do I need a reservation to enter?
A
"Sony Park Exhibition 2025 Part 2" requires advance reservations that can be made on the reservation website. By making an advance reservation, you can secure admission during your designated time slot. A limited number of same-day admission slots will also be available every day. Reception will be held on the B1 floor of Ginza Sony Park from 11:00 am to 5:45 pm, and same-day admission slots will become unavailable as soon as they run out.
The other floors of Ginza Sony Park will be open to visitors during the park's hours of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with no reservation required. 1/2 (Nibun no Ichi), the casual dining restaurant on B3, will be open until 9:00 pm. (last order at 8:00 pm)
*The park will be closed for maintenance all day on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Q
Do I need three separate reservations for each of the floors?
A
A single reservation will give you access to all floors of the "Sony Park Exhibition 2025 Part 2" (B2/3F/4F).

Will I be able to enter 30 minutes before the time of my reservation?
A
You may enter at the beginning of your reserved time slot, but entry will not be allowed before this time.

Will I be able to enter even after my reservation time slot has passed?
A
You will not be able to enter once your reservation time slot has passed.

If I have a reservation, will I be able to enter without having to wait?
A
During busy times, you may be asked to wait before entering.
Additionally, for the "Gaming gives us tales of growth" program on B2, visitors may need to wait for the various content and experiences, as they will be guided through these in order.

Can I make as many reservations as I want?
A
You may make one reservation per email address for up to two people.

I can't select the day I want to make the reservation for (the day is not shown). Are you closed on this day?
A
The reservation page shows only the time slots for which you can make a reservation. If date and time slots are not shown, they are full, and you will be unable to make a reservation for these dates and times. If there is a change or cancellation, these time slots may reappear, allowing you to make a reservation. If all dates and times become full, the system will stop accepting reservations.

Can I be put on a waitlist for a reservation?
A
We do not have a waitlist. However, if there are any changes or cancellations, the affected time slots may become available again, allowing you to make a reservation.

Can I make a single reservation for three people?
A
You may make one reservation per email address for up to two people. The third person will need to make their own reservation using a different email address.

Can I make a single reservation for a group?
A
We do not offer group reservations. Please make one reservation per email address, for up to two people.

Can I make a reservation on behalf of someone else?
A
You will be asked to present your reservation confirmation email to enter on the day of your visit. Therefore, please make sure that the person coming to the exhibition is the one who made the reservation, instead of someone else making the reservation on their behalf.

What should I do if I haven't received my reservation confirmation email?
A
Please check to ensure that the email has not been automatically sorted into your spam folder or other folders.
If the email address you entered at the time of your reservation was incorrect, please contact us via the Contact Form on the reservation website.
* We kindly ask that you contact us well in advance of your reservation date, as it may take a few days for us to respond to inquiries made close to weekends and holidays, or depending on the nature of the inquiry.
If you have a spam filter applied, change the settings to allow emails from the "@coubic.com" domain.
Emails sent from the STORES reservation website are designed for webmail.
We recommend you use a webmail address to make your reservation, as the email may not be received or displayed properly on a mobile phone/carrier email.

Can I change the number of people on my reservation?
A
You may change the number of people for your reservation through the link on the reservation completion email sent to you from "noreply@coubic.com," or on your My Page.

I thought I had reserved for two people, but it turns out I only reserved for one. Can two people still enter?
A
One adult may enter for each person included in your reservation. Please make an additional reservation for the same time slot for the second person.

What should I do if I can't find my reservation confirmation email?
A
You will need the reservation confirmation email, as you will be asked to present it to enter. Please contact us via the Contact Form on the reservation website.

Do children need a reservation?
A
Children under the age of 13 do not require a reservation. However, each child must be accompanied by one adult.
Children 13 years old and above will each require a reservation.
For instance, those who wish to enter with two children, aged 3 and 6, would make a reservation for two adults, then have the two adults accompany the children in the exhibition.

I made a reservation for two people, but my companion is late. Can I enter on my own before they arrive?
A
We ask that you enter once your companion has arrived.

Experiences

Q
Can I only stay for the hour of my time slot?
A
There is no limit to the amount of time you can stay once you have entered the exhibition. During busy times, however, staff may ask you to leave after about an hour.
Q
Why are there some contents that pregnant women cannot participate in?
A
Some of the contents in "Sony Park Exhibition 2025 Part 2" feature haptic floor exhibits in which vibration devices installed in the floors initiate along with video and audio.
Haptics technology is a type of technology that artificially creates and simulates the sense of touch through vibrations.
These experiential exhibits utilize technologies currently under research and development, and potential negative effects on pregnant women and their unborn babies participating in these experiences, out of the utmost consideration for customer safety.

Can those with visual impairments participate in these experiences?
A
While there is no audio commentary for the exhibits, if you speak to our staff, they will be happy to accompany you and provide verbal explanations as much as possible.

Is there a place I can park my stroller?
A
While you may enter with a stroller, we do not have a designated stroller parking area. If necessary, please leave your stroller temporarily in an open space on one of the floors.

Can I take photos/videos inside the exhibit? Can I post them on social media?
A
You are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use and post them on social media. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from livestreaming at the exhibition and limit any videos you take to 60 seconds or less.
When taking photos or videos, please refrain from using attachments like tripods and ensure that you do not capture other visitors or disrupt their experience.

Haptics Usage Restrictions

Q
What kind of experiences are offered in the haptic exhibits on each floor?
A
  • B2 "Gaming gives us tales of growth. /with BABYMONSTER": In the "'SHEESH' Hunting Game," participants use hand-held controllers that vibrate in sync with the video.
  • 3F "Entertainment technology breaks the mold. /with Creepy Nuts": Benches with seats that vibrate in sync with the video are installed in two locations on the floor.
  • 4F "Cinema grants knowledge./with kensuke ushio": The seats of the mini-theater are benches installed on a floor that vibrates in sync with the video.

What are the main usage restrictions for the haptic exhibits on each floor?

  • Children 6 years of age or under must operate the device with a guardian 18 years of age or above.
  • When operating the device, use the wrist strap, and use the stopper to tighten it. When operating the device with a child six years of age or under, ensure that the wrist strap is around the guardian's wrist.
  • During the experience, please make sure that the device does not come in direct contact with any part of the body other than the hand holding it.

  • Children 6 years of age or under must be accompanied by a guardian 18 years of age or above, and engage in the experience with this guardian, while holding their hand. During the experience, please ensure that the child does not put their hands on the seat, lie down on it, or touch it with any body part other than their bottom.
  • Children who cannot maintain a stable posture while sitting on their own, on a seat or other surface that vibrates, may not participate in this experience.
  • Please make sure to remove all jewelry, personal belongings, and other hard objects or trinkets that may touch the seat.
  • Pregnant women and those who have recently given birth may not participate in this experience.
  • For safety reasons, we ask those using wheelchairs to participate in the experience in an area without vibrations. Please speak to the staff if you are able to move from the wheelchair to the bench independently.

[Common to all three floors]

  • Those with medical device implants that are affected by magnets or vibrations, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and variable pressure shunts for the treatment of hydrocephalus, may not participate in these experiences.
  • Those with osteoporosis or other bone disorders may not participate in these experiences.
  • Those with diseases related to the heart, neck, spine, hips, etc., or any form of abnormality, poor physical condition, or other diseases or symptoms that may be aggravated by vibrations may not participate in these experiences.
