Thinking about forests.
Deep forests extend endlessly.
Deep forests can be warm at times, and cool at others.

What awaits beyond this forest?
Perhaps it will be a new you.
Or it might be another story.

Cinema grants knowledge.
Ginza Sony Park and kensuke ushio invite you to a forest deep inside our minds.

Gaze intently, and listen carefully.
That is how to enjoy your time in a forest.

Program

Together with musician kensuke ushio, we will be creating a forest-inspired space based on film soundtracks.to explore new cinematic works by listening to a selection of soundtracks from 21 films, curated by kensuke ushio himself, and stepping into a "forest" of film as conceptualized by the musician.

The program will also feature a mini-theater, exclusive to Ginza Sony Park, where visitors will be able to enjoy a trailer for the new animated film, "Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc," which will be released nationwide on September 19, 2025, and for which kensuke ushio handled the music. The synchronization between the video shown on the enormous 190-inch screen, the original sound, mixed with "360 Reality Audio"*1, which utilizes Sony's spatial sound technology, and the vibrating floor*2 creates a powerful viewing experience that can only be enjoyed here.

*1 "360 Reality Audio," a sound experience that utilizes spatial sound technology
A musical experience that makes use of Sony's object-based spatial sound technology to create a highly realistic sound field, making visitors feel as if they have wandered into a live performance by the artist themselves.

*2 The haptic technology, "Haptic Floor"
This technology is solely based on the vibrotactile feedback from the floor, the system delivers delicate and highly immersive sensation to the participant's entire body, by leveraging the signal processing technology and know-how accumulated in the past by Sony.
