It surely carries more than just comfort.

At Ginza Sony Park, we believe that a chair quietly imprints a person's daily life and presence over time as they sit and spend moments on it.

And with this, Ginza Sony Park has gathered 52 beloved chairs from architects, artists, shop owners, and various other professionals.

Rather than focusing on famous designs or prices, we introduce 52 chairs through the stories of "What kind of moments has this person experienced with this chair?"

A chair in the corner of a workspace for relaxation.

A cherished chair used when opening a shop.

A one-of-a-kind chair with slightly shortened legs for a child.

If you find a chair you like among the various ones, you can even purchase it.

And a portion of the revenue will be donated to support the creation of spaces where someone can sit, learn, and spend time comfortably.

Program

Chairs beloved by architects, artists, shop owners, and individuals from various fields will gather at Ginza Sony Park, each accompanied by their own story. All displayed chairs are available for purchase and will be delivered after the exhibition period ends.

*Part of the proceeds will be donated to the "Emergency Disaster and Recovery Fund for Children," co-established in 2016 by Sony Group Corporation (the previous Sony Corporation) in partnership with NGO Save the Children Japan. The donations will be used to provides immediate support upon the sudden onset of natural disasters or humanitarian crises as well as medium- to long-term recovery support to children.
