1/2 (Nibun no Ichi) means "A Little Less, So Much More."

With half the portion consisting of two dishes on a plate, the story begins from the moment of choice. Under this unique format of "1/2 cuisine," Chef Sota Atsumi, leading Restaurant MAISON in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, will offer a special four-day event interpreting Japanese Western cuisine for the first time.

The sincere approach to ingredients and the beauty of dish composition have garnered attention from chefs and food enthusiasts alike.

Since Phase 1 in 2020, Ginza Sony Park and MAISON have been building their culinary initiatives, leading up to the current guest chef plates. This special collaboration is realized with the MAISON team, resonating with the experimental nature and openness of Ginza Sony Park. Additionally, MAISON will introduce its first-ever Chocolate Caramel "Caramel MAISON cru Version intense with Minimal Chocolate", and this will be available in advance of the event.

Restaurant MAISON

Opened in 2019 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, this restaurant is a rare find in the city, featuring a unique house setting and a focus on cooking with firewood.

Chef Sota Atsumi approaches the ingredients, which are sourced directly from selected producers across France, with the intention of "delivering the wonderful ingredients born from the earth and sea without compromising their quality, and if possible, enhancing them for the table." He personally bakes all the homemade bread just before each service starts, believing that every ingredient deserves to be the star of the dish.

Valuing the thoughts and dedication of those who are committed to craftsmanship, he communicates in person with the makers of not only the ingredients but also the plates, cutlery, glasses, and uniforms, ensuring that everything is thoughtfully created.

A wine bar and concept store is planned to open in the spring of 2026.
