#013 QUEEN IN THE PARK : Experience Music with Queen
Ginza Sony Park is opening a program featuring music from the legendary rock band Queen!
The legendary rock band Queen has moved generations with its revolutionary music, including songs such as 'We Will Rock You' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' #013 QUEEN IN THE PARK : Experience Music with Queen offers various activities that allow visitors to not just listen to but also experience the songs that captivated the world. By seeing, playing, and immersing themselves within the music, visitors can discover new types of musical experiences and the joys and wonders they bring. The program will be held to coincide with Queen's tour in Japan.

A Message to You from the Queen guitarist Mr. Brian May
Japan has a special place in our hearts for having helped Queen rise to popularity. I was surprised to hear that they had created park in the middle of Ginza, which is such a symbolic city in Japan—even more that it had been dedicated to our band. This fusion of entertainment and technology at Ginza Sony Park is sure to be full of fun and a new kind of musical experience for all the visitors—including us. It may even lead to uncovering new aspects of our music. We, too, are looking forward to having fun at QUEEN IN THE PARK and immersing ourselves in the music.
A Message to You from the Queen drummer Mr. Roger Taylor
As Brian said, this sort of program is a first for us. I don't think anyone other than Ginza Sony Park could have made this possible, considering their successes in creating many exciting programs in the past. I hope the experience of 'not just listening' to music at this Queen-themed park will provide an opportunity for many people to enjoy our songs.

The historical "Do Re Mi" musical scale steps of Sony Building have made a comeback after a special Queen makeover!
Step on them to recreate the "Stomp, stomp, clap" rhythm four times… and prompt Freddie to start singing!?

A total of 70 successive generations of Sony's radios play "Radio Ga Ga" in chorus!
Enjoy the nostalgic sounds of the chorus from big and small radios.

Books, CDs, DVDs and other Queen merchandise are available for purchase at the Kiosk on the 1st floor of the basement. Every purchase of 'Greatest Hits in Japan,' a special best-of album celebrating Queen's performances in Japan, will come with a special calendar (available while stocks last). Buyers will also receive free limited-edition stickers that are only available at this program.

Sony's acoustic technology, "Sonic Surf VR," (*1) will deliver an unprecedented musical experience through "Bohemian Rhapsody."

A karaoke booth has been set up specially for singing "We Are the Champions," one of Queen's greatest songs.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST / Fragment Shadow
A musical experience fulfilling your sight with enjoyment of a projection space 13 meters across in which your shadow will move freely and be superimposed onto images of the lyrics, sound, colors, and silhouettes of other members.
It is a hands-on demonstration making the full use of multi-projection system "Fragment Shadow," (*2) capable of modifying the appearance of real shadows created by lights.

JEWELS / Donation Juke Box
A special juke box has been set up dedicated to play only Queen's songs.
Make a donation, and it will play a song of your choice as background music inside the Park B4 floor.

Park Live in conjunction with QUEEN IN THE PARK
Musical artists who admire Queen will perform at Park Live, the live music program where you can "run into" new musical discoveries.
Since Ginza Sony Park opened about a year ago, as many as 100 artists have performed at Park Live shows held every Friday night, or at other times. Response to the shows has been tremendous, with many performances and collaborations that can only be seen here.

On level B4 (Basement 4) of Ginza Sony Park, you can hear ten albums selected as background music by artists and creators from Japan and around the world, based on the theme of "The Music I Want to Hear at Park Right Now." Choose background music at the Donation Juke Box from January 22 (Wed) to March 15 (Sun) in conjunction with #013 QUEEN IN THE PARK: Experience Music with Queen.
